Andre Henderson
Andre Henderson became the head coach of the Erie Royals varsity football team in 2021, succeeding Rob Matz.
A 2005 Strong Vincent graduate, Henderson worked as an assistant for three years prior to being elevated to the top job, including serving as Erie High's defensive coordinator in 2020.
In a statement announcing Henderson's hiring, Superintendent Brian Polito praised his connection to students and his passion for the community and the sport.
"Andre Henderson, a longtime member of Erie High’s coaching staff, has been deeply involved in student life for years and is passionate about improving the community," Polito said. "He will shape the future of Royals football."
