    Professional Development/Act 80 Day
     
     
    The Act 80 Teacher In-service Day is February 17, 2014. We are excited to be able to provide everyone in the district with a choice of more than 50 professional development opportunities from which to select.

    We have scheduled time for everyone to participate in three sessions:

    Session I:    8:30-10:00
    Session II:   10:30-12:00
    Session III:  1:30-3:00

    Registration for all three sessions is required of all faculty and administrators. Building principals are responsible for ensuring all of their faculty members are signed up for appropriate sessions and are encouraged to work with teachers to ensure that the selected sessions are in alignment with the goals of the school and the teachers.

    Please note that all faculty members who are associated with a state assessment (PSSA and Keystone) must attend one session of the PVAAS training.  A list of these teachers will be forwarded to all principals.
