    Erie's Public Schools uses Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts® (CKLA) curriculum and instruction in grades K-5. Students build subject-area knowledge in history, science, literature, and the arts by learning to read and write using high-quality instructional materials built on the science of reading.

    Erie's Public Schools uses HMH Into Literature curriculum and instruction by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in grades 6-12. HMH Into Literature uses diverse, culturally relevant texts that connect with students' lives to build confidence, standards mastery, and college and career readiness for all learners.
