Student Assistance Program

Erie's Public Schools' Student Assistance Program is designed to assist in identifying issues including alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student's success. The primary goal of the Student Assistance Program, commonly referred to as SAP, is to help students overcome these barriers so that they may achieve, advance, and remain in school. Anyone can refer a student to this program. Please click above to make a referral.

Welcome to the Edison Elementary School website! We are located at 1921 East Lake Road in Erie, PA. Our school prides itself on hard work and determination. Our school is predicated on the belief that all students can learn and build lifelong skills that will help them become productive citizens in our community.

Our staff is very experienced, averaging about 18 years of experience per teacher. Each teacher has experience in all aspects of education and learning and has completed many of hours of professional development to hone his/her craft. Our faculty prides themselves on being the best possible educators they can be! As a staff, we use multiple teaching styles to match our diverse the unique learning styles of our pupils.

Edison Elementary School offers many programs that help enhance our student’s learning and make our school a great place to be! We have many programs that are run by community members as well as former teachers and administrators from our school and community. Edison is a wonderful place to nurture students aspiring to be productive citizens in the 21st century!
