• Green Cleaning Products
     
    This group has initiated a pilot program at Collegiate in which the custodial staff is using green cleaning products from Kinzua Environmental Company during the second semester of the 2012-2013 school year. They are designing a plan that will assess the program in the following areas: environmental, cost, efficiency, and education. Five students had the opportunity to present their project at the Green Schools Academy in Pittsburgh in February 2013. They also worked with experts in the field: Stephen Ashkin, Vivian Loftness, and Erica Cochran.   Future goals are to encourage the use of green cleaning products district-wide.
