WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY
Erie’s Public Schools (“the School District”) is committed to make its electronic information, including the School District’s website, programs, and benefits, accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. The School District will provide access to its electronic information in accordance with all applicable federal and Pennsylvania laws. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 mandate that the School District ensure that all individuals with disabilities seeking information, programs, or services from the School District have access to and use of information that is comparable to the access and use by any other members of the public who are not individuals with disabilities. The School Code strives to adhere to this standard unless doing so would be unduly burdensome upon the School District.
To ensure the School District’s website is both usable and accessible to users, the School District’s website is designed and developed in accordance with the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA as well as the Section 508 standards in the United States.
If you are unable to access content on the School District’s website, have questions about accessibility content or technology used by the School District and/or would like to report barriers to accessing any technology used by the School District, including this website, please contact the Department listed below for assistance:
