I am a life-long resident of Erie, PA and a proud graduate of the Erie School District, having attended Academy High School. I attended Slippery Rock University and then Edinboro University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Social Studies. Shortly after graduation, I returned to school to obtain my certification/masters in Special Education. In 2014 I returned to school (IUP) to obtain my certificate in Cooperative Education.
Prior to working in the district, I worked at Barber National Institute in the group homes for 5 years and then in their school for two years. I have been working for Erie's Public Schools for more than 23 years!
I am a mother of two students: one attending college and the other in high school.
