• I was born in Washinrgton, D.C. I graduated from Randall Senior High School. After Graduating High School, I enrolled at the University of the District of Columbia where I majored in Physics. I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Physics. After leaving UDC, I went to graduate school. I enrolled at the University of Akron to pursue a Master Degree in physics. I left Akron for the University of Michigan where I graduated witn a Ph.D. degree in Biophysics.
