    Third Grade 
     
    Hi Third Graders and Families!  Thank you for checking my 3rd grade website.  I'm glad for this chance to get to know all of you.  I have a feeling it's going to be a great year.  I hope all of you have had the opportunity to rest up and enjoy the summer vacation.  I've had a great time getting to know my 2 newest cats, Katja and Biscuit (they came to live with me last year in the summer).  They are such sweet cats.
     
    Here's a list of some of my favorite things: food = lasagna (my whole life!), color = purple (also my whole life), animal = polar bear, music = anything with a beat (lol!), sports team = anything Pittsburgh!
     
    I was born in and lived in Beaver County near Pittsburgh until the early 90s.  We moved up here as a family in 1993.  While I'm no longer married, I still decided to stay in Erie because I love living close to Lake Erie.  There's just something special about being on a beach and hearing the waves--I love it!
     
    I'm looking forward to teaching you all the 3rd grade curriculum.  I previously taught 1st grade and 4th grade for many years.  Both of these grades help me as I teach 3rd grade.
