- About the Harding PTO
-
The Harding PTO has been supporting our school for many years. The PTO is the "Parent Teacher Organization" and it is made up of parents, teachers and staff members who want to help make our school a better place.
The PTO helps with planning family engagement events, student appreciation activities and staff appreciation efforts. The PTO fundraises throughout the year and their funding goes specifically toward field trips, student activities (such as field day), staff appreciation week, paying for the sales tax for book fairs so that students only have to pay for the cost of books, and family engagement events. Because of the PTO, every Harding student has access to special experiences, at no cost.
To be involved in the PTO, there is no cost and no commitment, you can be involved as much or as little as you like. You can volunteer at the school or help stuff envelopes in your living room. It is super flexible and whatever you make it! Everything you do to support your child's school matters and is important. By being involved, you will get to know teachers and school staff and other parents, which will help make your family's Harding experience even better.
