Mr. Peterson
This is my third year teaching in the Erie Public Schools district. Before joining Wilson, I taught introductory college physics for engineers (electricity & magnetism) at colleges in PA, Nebraska and Connecticut. I have a long history of training engineers in basic scientific principles and problem-solving strategies. Many of my former students have gone on to have successful careers in engineering with such companies as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Apple, Wabtec, GE, IBM and NASA.
When I'm not teaching, my hobbies include writing poetry and short fiction, learning foreign languages, playing chess, and algebraic topology. I enjoy the novels of Solzhenitsyn, the poetry of Tennyson, the operas of Wagner, and the paintings of Zhang Hongtu. I'm an animal lover and the proud "papa" of a Wire Fox Terrier named Beatrix.
