    LearnthatWord
     
    Learn that Word lists a multitude of high-usage Latin and Greek root words. Miss Domowicz uses this site to select words for vocabulary assignments, such as the word of the day. Students will learn and use most of these root words over the course of the school year, and as a result will be able to recognize and use all derivatives of those root words.
     Purdue Owl
     
     The Purdue Owl is a citation guide written and maintained by the students and fowlculty of Perdue University. Students should use the MLA citation guidelines for all 8th grade Language Arts assignments that require citations.
