• Meet the teacher: 

    I am now in my 20th year working as an elementary school counselor.  This is my 13th year at Perry Elementary School.  I have 2 children of my own.  Ben is 16, and Anna is 14.  I have been married for 19 years to Jill.  I have written 2 children's books and have used them in my work with students at Perry: "How Jake and Daisy Stopped Bullying at Dogwood Elementary" and "Follow Jake and Daisy to the Top".  Gabby, is a certified therapy dog and will be coming back to Perry 2 days per week this year.   My spare time I like to spend outside with my family.
