McKINLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am so happy that you are here! 

This school year, we will dive into reading comprehension, reading fluency, vocabulary and more using our CKLA curriculum. Students will begin the year studying Unit 1: Classic Tales: The Wind and the Willow. We will also be expanding our math skills using i-Ready Math. We will begin the year with three-digit numbers. Throughout the year, students will be introduced to multiplication, division, and more. In science, we will be exploring forces and interactions through OpenSciEd’s Activate Learning curriculum. We have a year full of fun and learning ahead of us! I look forward to watching you grow as a student and as a person!

A Little Bit About Me: I am a 2024 graduate of Mercyhurst University where I earned my dual degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. While this will be my first year at McKinley, this is my second year teaching in the Erie School District.
