• Dear Parents and Guardians,

       I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Cara Knight and I am so excited to be your child’s Autistic Support Teacher!

       This is my fifth year at East Middle School. Before my time at East I had experiences working at Woodrow Wilson, Edison, and teaching Pre-K counts for many years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis and an Autism Endorsement from Mercyhurst University . I am certified in Early Childhood Pre-K – 4th grade and Special Education K-8th grade.

       I am thrilled to be able to work with your child this year and I look forward to watching them learn and grow and enjoy their time here at East Middle School.
