Collegiate Academy JROTC are getting ready for the best Ruck for Life event yet!

This event will benefit the Liberty House and other EUMA charities. The Liberty House is a transitional housing program for homeless veterans. Working in collaboration with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Liberty House is the only transitional program in Erie County specifically for homeless veterans.

The basic details for this event are:

    When: Saturday, October 26, 2024 - Check-in at 0830, formation at 0900
    Where: Erie, PA Bicentennial Tower
Who: Everyone is welcome to attend
What to bring: Donations in a 13-gallon trash bag placed inside a backpack or bookbag.

We would like to invite you, your families, and your friends to come join us. Click here for more details.

Some examples of donations are coffee, clothing (in new condition), personal hygiene items and toiletries, cleaning supplies, non-perishable foods, and bedding items.  This year they have a need for winter jackets and thermal/moisture wicking socks.

If you cannot join us, but would still like to help, we will still accept any donations. Simply collect what you can from family, friends or neighbors and send it in with your Cadet or drop it off at the school office anytime during the school day.

Please note that we are not able to accept cash or money donations — any of those type donations can be forwarded to the EUMA website (https://euma-erie.org/get-involved/donate.html).
