Honor Roll
We recognize students with exemplary grade point averages each quarter. Their names appear on the honor roll bulletin board in the front hall, and they are treated to ice cream in the cafeteria.
Below are the levels of distinction:
- Summa Cum Laude, 4.0+
- Magna Cum Laude, 3.5–3.99
- Cum Laude, 3.0–3.49
Grade point averages will not be rounded for determining honor roll status. If a student fails any class, he or she is ineligible for the honor roll regardless of his or her GPA.
We also recognize honor roll students every May at our annual Academic Excellence Ceremony. Students who have achieved honor roll status each of the first three quarters will be invited to the ceremony.
